Resolution 12 In Recognition and Appreciation of Hulett H. "Bucky" Askew
WHEREAS, Hulett H. "Bucky" Askew has served as the American Bar Association's consultant on legal education for six years; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Askew is the key staff adviser to the Section of Legal Education and Admission to the Bar, which is designated by the United States Department of Education as the accrediting entity for United States law schools; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Askew is leaving his position with the ABA at the end of August 2012; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure Mr. Askew has endeavored diligently to establish better communications and a productive working relationship with the Conference of Chief Justices; and
WHEREAS, he has always demonstrated exceptional knowledge, expertise and the highest degree of professionalism and integrity;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Conference of Chief Justices does hereby express its utmost respect and admiration for Bucky Askew and extends to him its sincere best wishes for his future endeavors.
